Dr. Markus Hens is a Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Alpine Grove Partners. He is a member of the Investment Committee. Dr. Hens has 30 years of industry experience.

At Alpine Grove’s predecessor firm, Soros Real Estate Partners, Dr. Hens was responsible for German real estate private equity investments. Prior to joining Soros Real Estate in 2001, he worked at J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd. in Real Estate Investment Banking in London and at Deutsche Bank AG in Cologne. Dr. Hens served in the German Air Force at SHAPE, Belgium.

Dr. Hens received a Dr. rer. pol. and a Diplom-Kaufmann from European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.
